Papers should be submitted to the editorial office by August 1 of each year; articles arriving after this date will be included in the next year's portfolio, with the author's consent.
We accept articles written in Romanian, English, German and French. The authors agree to abide by all the provisions of copyright law. Papers will be accepted after verification of compliance with scientific and editorial standards, according to the double-blind method.

The text will be typed using: text editor Microsoft Word Office, font Times New Roman, font size 12, block aligned, paragraph - first line, spacing 1.5 lines.
Footnotes should be in 10-characters, numbered consecutively.
The manuscript shall be accompanied by the following elements:
Abstract. It will contain 200-300 words and will be written in the same language as the article. The manuscript will also be accompanied by an abstract in English.
Text of the manuscript.
Figures and plates. These shall have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Their format must be jpg. or tiff. They will be submitted individually, separate from the text, in a separate file.
List of abbreviations.
List of bibliographies.
List of illustrations. In the case of each figure or plate, the copyright should be indicated in brackets.
Drafting the manuscript
The text will be typed using: text editor Microsoft Word Office, font Times New Roman, font size 12, block aligned, paragraph - first line, spacing 1.5 lines.
The title of the paper will be positioned in the center of the page. Below the title, on the right-hand side of the page, the name(s) of the author(s) will be written in italics, without the scientific title, accompanied by an asterisk (*) that will be placed at the bottom of the page, before the first footnote, where the name of the institution where the author works, its address and the author's personal e-mail address will be written.
Authors will indicate at the beginning of the text the key words and a 200-300 word summary, both in Romanian and English, regardless of the language in which the article was written.
The text of the manuscript will be composed without underlining, bold type, dialog boxes, etc. Also, quotations will be either enclosed in quotation marks of the type " " (using English US in the language setting) or italicized (both systems should not be used at the same time).
Citation system
The Harvard system will be used for the ARCHAEOLOGY part. In the case of the Harvard system, footnotes should cite the author(s), year of publication and page (figure, plate, photograph).
Ex:
Georgescu 2007, 17, fig. 14.
Georgescu, Ionescu 2007, 19.
When the cited study is written by two authors it will be cited as follows: Popescu, Ionescu 2024. When the cited study has more than two authors it will be cited thus: Ionescu et alii 2023.
If more than one paper by the same author(s), published in the same year, a small letter (a to z) will be added to the year of publication. If there is more than one author with the same name, the first initial of the first name (e.g. B. Ionescu 2024, 476; C. Ionescu 1981, 23.
At the end of the manuscript, the bibliographic list must be attached in alphabetical order of the authors' names, following the examples:
