The manuscript will be submitted to the journal's editorial secretariat. Subsequently, the editor will designate one of the issue editors to decide whether the article corresponds to the profile of the journal (depending on the subject area to which the article belongs).
If the answer is " affirmative ", the issue manager contacts two reviewers who belong to the scientific community and are specialists in the field and the main topic of the manuscript. The reviewers may also be members of the scientific committee of the journal. The reviewers have seven days to decide whether they agree to express their opinion on the manuscript. If, after seven days, one of the reviewers decides that he/she is unable to provide a scientific opinion on the article, another specialist is appointed by the editor. The reviewers have one month to comment on the article and make a decision. The review process will follow the rules laid down as double-blind review.
The two reviewers shall consider the following aspects in the evaluation of the manuscript:
1. The practical importance and impact the article has in the scientific world.
2. Originality of the paper and the results obtained.
3. Scientific level of the paper.
4. Conclusions and/or recommendations, and/or future investigations proposed by the author(s).
Each of these requirements are scored from 5 to 1.
Finally, the two reviewers can recommend one of the following situations:
1. The article is accepted as proposed by the author(s).
2. The article is accepted after corrections are made, which may be major or minor.
3. Article is not accepted in its current version.
The final decision to accept or reject the article rests with the number responsible and is based on the assessments made by the two referees.
